Tennis at McClure Middle School
There is a new tennis group in the area that is looking for players in Middle School. The tennis league will have three teams available to the McClure community. It will include players of all levels, from beginners to advanced. There are no cuts from this league. Sign up has to be done by August.
There is a wonderful website at www.atakthenet.com that gives you all of the information needed. There is also a parent coordinator that can help with any questions about the group. Her name is Kim Barfield and she has a student in the sixth grade at McClure. She can be reached at 770-560-8089 or

Field Trip Reminders
Field Trip Info
- Students need to wear their red 5th grade t-shirts!
- Students do not need to bring anything to school tomorrow. The only thing they are allowed to bring on the field trip is a lunch in a disposable bag and a camera (disposable would be best, we will not be responsible for any lost or broken cameras).
- We will be leaving around 8:00 a.m. so students can come to school their regular way. Please make sure they are not late tomorrow!
- We will be arriving back at school at 5:00 p.m.
- You must pick up your child at 5:00 p.m. if someone else is picking up your child please send in a written note tomorrow morning saying who will be picking up your child. ASP will be open until 6:00 p.m.
